Tiberias Overlook

A Pilgrims Prayer

Lord Jesus, your feet made this land holy,

you came as a Pilgrim to the City of Peace.

As we follow your steps

open our eyes that we may see.

May we see you not only in the stones,

but in your people and each other.

Write your Gospel in our hearts,

help us to proclaim it with our lives.

Lord, each day as we follow you

to the heavenly Jerusalem, teach us to pray

as you taught those who first followed you. Amen.
